Marya Read, CEO, Executive Producer

Marya D. Read, owner and president of Intrepid Films, LLC, since 1995, has directed and produced countless corporate films, training videos, and television commercials during her 22 years in advertising and marketing communications.  Her love of learning inspired Ms. Read to turn her communication skills toward creating innovative media for education.

Prior to starting Intrepid, Ms. Read had been creative director and broadcast producer with advertising agencies, including Grey Advertising Worldwide.  Her work has won many industry awards, including the prestigious CLIO, New York Art Directors Club, 4 A’s Best of the West, LULU (Los Angeles Women in Advertising), Telly Awards, Public Relations Society of America, and many regional and local awards.
